Esparanza means "Hope" in Spanish but our Esparanza is a butterfly milkweed that has bright orange flowers and grows one to two feet tall.
When planted in full sun, this perennial attracts butterflies by the dozens.
Blooming from summer into fall, the Esparanza is not water-greedy, making it a good Xeriscape plant. It is native to Hill County areas.
The Esparanza is a multi-trunk shrub, which gardeners can also train to grow like a tree. It has a brilliant, lemon yellow, bell-shaped flower. It will have bees humming all around it.
Maintaining an Esparanza is similar to caring for a crape myrtle. Cut off seedpods, as they develop to encourage new growth.
They're also called 'yellow bells' and are in the Chihuahuan desert.
Esparanza participated in a lot of events as a sponsor or a guest of honor including the 3rd Mother & Baby Fair in Egypt (July 2008); El Shona 4th International Biennale Children's Art (March 2003);
AUC Employment Fair (May 2004); Jino Juhayna Campaign (June 2009); AUC Alumni Homecoming (May 2009); President Campaign (September 2007) and La Vache Kiri Campaign (June 2008).
Famous Magazines, like Hello Mohandseen (September 2002), Hadiyaty (May 2009), Gift from God (2006, 2007 & 2008) and Egypt Today (September 2002),
wrote articles about the nursery and published interviews with Dr. Haytham Haikal (Esparanza General Manager).
Esparanza served different Embassies and their citizens in Egypt, like the embassy of UK, USA, France, Germany, Belgium, Spain, Algeria, Gabon, Yemen, Russia, Japan, Syria, Iraq, Lebanon, Korea, Saudi Arabia, Libya, and Sudan.
Egyptian Famous Actor Laila Elwi shot her latest Ramadan series Halah Wa El Mestakhaby مسلسل هاله والمستخبى
